The opening sequence is an audiovisual treat, when I watched The Final Cut in 4K for the first time the hair on the back of my neck stood on end!
The music was done by Vangelis, the haunting synth just works so well, here's a copy of the complete soundtrack for your enjoyment:
Some of the soundtrack has been remixed, most famously (in my mind) by Paul Oakenfold and used in the Goa Mix (one of my all time favourite Essential Mixes):
