Clint Howard

I was flicking through Primes Recently Added Movies section (always quite amusing as it has movies that have been there for over 6 months!) and saw The Wraith, well that was something I hadn't seen for a while so i thought I'd give it a watch.

So there was Clint Howard playing Rughead and it struck me that I'd seen him in a few movies recently and I decided to look him up and was amazed at his body of work and longevity.

He started his acting career in 1963 and has been consistently working since then, with currently 4 projects ongoing. His roles have been varied ranging from the voice of Roo in The Many Adventures of Winnie the Poo, Balok in Star Trek, Ralakili in Solo: A Star Wars Story to Mr Baggy Britches in 3 From Hell.

He is the younger bother of Ron Howard, and has appeared in 16 films directed by his elder brother.

I have a particular fondness for movies of the 70/80s, Clint was quite prolific during that period with such films as:
Rock 'n' Roll High School
Evilspeak
Night Shift
Gung Ho
The Wraith
Tango & Cash
Disturbed
Though none of these can be considered "classics" they are of the time, and let us not forget that, they are good entertainment and enjoyable to watch.

I'll be covering some more of his movies a later blog about Uwe Boll, that should be an interesting, well I hope you find it so.
