Nick Frost had a slightly different start to his working career compared to Simon Pegg, he worked in for a shipping agent after he left school and the spent 2 years in a kibbutz!
His early acting jobs involved corporate training video clips and a sales video for Dixons!
He met Simon Pegg whilst he was working as a waiter in a North London Mexican restaurant, they became firm friends and ended up sharing a flat together.
Nick Frost did actually get a small part in Big Train with Pegg, and also a one off role in Acorn Antiques!
His big break was of course Spaced (which is now streaming on Netflix!) where the role of Mike was especially written for him by Pegg and Jessica Hynes.
